This will be a joint quiet day with the people of All Saints' Episcopal Church (Hillsboro), hosted by St. Bede's. A Lenten Quiet Day is a reflective day of prayer, meditation and contemplation. We will celebrate the Eucharist, hear guided reflections, and have space for free time to pray, read, meditate, or simply be. Please bring a lunch.
Holy Week is a time outside of time as we sink deeper into the meaning of Christ’s redemption of the world. Click here to learn more about Holy Week and our liturgies and practices.

Commemoration of the institution of the Holy Eucharist by Jesus “on the night he was betrayed” with ceremonial foot washing and stripping of the altar. Maundy Thursday is the beginning of the Easter Triduum, which also includes Good Friday and the Great Vigil of Easter. These three services constitute one continuous liturgy, leading us to the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord at the Easter Vigil.
There will be no Pub Fellowship today.
Overnight, 8:30pm-7:30am

At the Altar of Repose, we keep vigil in silent prayer and adoration, recalling our Lord’s agony in the Garden of Gethsemane.
This is a way to deepen one’s spiritual connection with Christ’s sacrifice and actively participate in the events leading up to his crucifixion.
