As God creatures we reflect the Trinitarian, communal nature of the Godhead. It is not good for us to be alone (Gen. 2:18). Therefore, community matters to us! It is essential to our faith life together. Please look to the descriptions below for opportunities to find meaning in belonging.
Please see our calendar page to verify meeting days, times, and locations.
Each year, the St. Bede's community and those connected with us venture out together on a beach trip. Feel free to camp with us or just come for the day. Be prepared for long walks on the beach, deep discussions, laughter, community social time, specially-themed communal dinners, daily morning prayer, our famous St. Beak's bird watching outing, Saturday night Eucharist, and more.
Meetings break for the summer in July & August.
The men's group meets monthly to begin their day with prayer, good-natured conversations, and compelling topics. Besides annual retreats and field trips to interesting venues, the men enjoy their camaraderie meeting over coffee, donuts, and bacon.
Our coffee hour and hospitality teams help St. Bede’s to be a warm and welcoming place. We provide refreshments after our 10am Sunday liturgy and other special occasions such as potlucks, bishop visitations, and the agape feast after the Great Vigil of Easter on Easter Eve.
Small groups meet monthly for a while, shuffle as new people are interested, and then start again. Dinner groups are a fantastic way to develop deeper connections with fellow Bedians. Sign-up on the narthex (entryway) kiosk if you are interested!
Join us as we sing through our Sunday hymns for the coming month! This is a fun opportunity to sing together, learn our upcoming hymns, and pray through song.
Location: Nave (Main Sanctuary)
See our calendar page for the current location.
After 5:00 pm Zoom evening prayer on Thursdays, a group of St. Bedians meet for pub fellowship at a local restaurant. It is “no host” and you are welcome to join us.
All women are invited! We will have food, social time, prayer and Bible readings, and activities that vary each month.
We eat well, walk on the beach, go for hikes, sing hymns, and on Sunday morning, celebrate the Eucharist together.
On the second Sunday of December each year, we set aside a special afternoon to enjoy tea, beautiful table decorations, festive foods, and best of all, time with each other (sometimes even with live music!).
